Member of Adoption committee
Graham is an Anglican Priest who served the first 20 years of his ministry in Herefordshire where for 9 years he was Chair of Trustees (followed by three years as Vice Chair) to the HOPE Charity in Bromyard. Through that charity a children’s centre, a nursery, a training facility and work start up units were built with the principle objective of breaking the cycle of poverty to give children prospects of better lives. Working with families on the margins gave great insight into how children arrive in the care system and their special needs as they go through the process of adoption.
Graham has also been deeply involved in youth and children’s work throughout the last 30 years and has seen the benefits for children of living and growing up in stable loving families. Graham is married to Clare and together they have two adopted children. Clare is Rector of the Osney Benefice and Graham is Chaplain to the Bishop of Oxford. Graham has considerable experience of charity trusteeship at local and national level he is committed to PACT because of his interest in adoption and the fact that PACT has deep links with the Diocese of Oxford.
Prior to ordination in the Church of England Graham worked in the banking industry for 11 years.
Qualifications: Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and Bachelor of Theology.
