PACT's Senior Management Team oversees the leadership and management of all PACT charitable services and activities.
Jan Fishwick OBE
Chief Executive, Senior Management Team
Jan’s career in social work began in 1975 as Deputy Matron of a 12 bedded children’s home. Here she gained an early understanding of the need for early intervention for families and also encountered children waiting for adoptive families. Both experiences influenced her passion for support to prevent family breakdown as well as ensuring Looked After Children were given the best opportunity to experience the loving environment of a family and to thrive. Jan has a broad experience at senior levels in both Local Authority and Charitable sectors, joining PACT in 2008 as CEO. She is also a Board member of the Consortium of Voluntary Adoption Agencies advising and influencing government policy on radical reform of adoption services. Jan lives with her husband Ian in a village outside High Wycombe. She enjoys family time with her three adult sons, their partners and three grandsons, walking in the Chilterns, cultivating (and sitting in) the garden and travel. Qualifications: CQSW, MPA. Jan was awarded an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list in 2017.
Chief Financial Officer, Senior Management Team
Nick trained as a chartered accountant with KPMG before working with Savills, which he helped grow both organically and by acquisition during a time of recession. He then moved to Holy Trinity Brompton, a large Anglican church in Knightsbridge and the home of the Alpha Course, the Marriage Course and other global ministries. Nick was involved in setting up Alpha International and a number of other charities over a 14 year period with the group which saw him in several roles, culminating as FD. Nick and his wife, Claire, remain involved with HTB as a lay-pastors at one of its church plants near their home in Kingston. They have three daughters, Annie, Gracie and Bea plus a friendly labradoodle, Marmite. Nick is a trustee of the outward-bound charity Adventure Plus which is based in Witney, Oxfordshire. Head of Adoption, Senior Management Team
Shirley has more than 25 years experience working with children and families in both the voluntary and statutory sector.
Shirley worked for Hampshire County Council as a social worker, Family Centre Manager and Permanence Team Manager (the last post for 10 years) before moving to Coram to manage the projects in the Midlands.
Shirley joined PACT in the summer of 2012. She has recently moved to Reading with her family and is getting to know the local area. She has two grown up children and two step-children, and enjoys going to the theatre and to concerts when family commitments allow.
Qualifications: MSc in Social Work, Dip Social Work, BA in Sociology and Anthropology, NVQ4 in Management, Cert. in Health & Social Care Management
Natausha van Vliet
Director of Business Development, Senior Management Team
Natausha joined PACT in June 2013. Her diverse professional background has included several senior and influential roles, including over 10 years working in the commercial music industry as well as more recently working in the children and young people’s voluntary and community sector.
Not only is Natausha a Montessori early years teacher as well as a Co-Active development coach, she is also a Trustee for Women's Breakout. She is passionate about helping people to help themselves and improving the outcomes for families, children and young people.
She is married with two children, has two rescue dogs and is the chair for her local scout group, regularly supporting her local community. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, music and running.

Head of HR, Senior Management Team
Deborah joined PACT in 2011. She has almost 30 years experience in HR, working primarily for organisations in the higher education and social housing sectors, including 10 years with A2 Housing and 10 years at Royal Holloway College, University of London.
Deborah is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and completed the CIPD Certificate in Employment Law, Relations and Practice (Merit) in 2011.
She has two children and enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dog Murphy, travel, running and taking on new challenges.
Head of Fundraising and Marketing, Senior Management Team
Emma trained as a journalist and worked on local and regional newspapers for nine years. She has worked in the charity sector for 14 years and held PR, events management and fundraising positions at two national charities before coming to PACT as a fundraising manager in 2008. As the department grew she managed PACT’s communications and marketing function.
Emma is married with two children and her interests are books, pilates, running, blogging about domestic chores and organising events at her children’s school.
Qualifications: NCTJ NCE in Newspaper Journalism.
