Support and Training Events Calendar

Support evening for PACT adoptive mothers.

This group, led by PACT’s Adoption Support Team, offers mums and mums-to-be the chance to meet together virtually to talk through challenges, ask questions and share support, encouragement and advice.

A link will be provided to attend virtually via Microsoft Teams (full details will be sent after booking).

Please note: these sessions are only available to approved PACT adopters (with or without children placed), and those in Stage 2 of the adoption assessment process with PACT who have completed a DBS check.

*Mothers of 11 year-old children, please attend the session that matches your child’s school setting – primary or secondary

Our online bite-sized learning workshops are designed to be light, brief and down to earth. They are perfect for parents who are time-short but who want tips, reassurance, and a chance to share experiences. Come along, join us and let’s figure it out together.

Why attend?

If you have any questions about therapeutically‑informed playtime with your child and would like a space to talk things through and gather some creative, innovative ideas you can use at home, we’d love for you to join us.

What’s included?

Together, we can look at things like:

• What therapeutic play can look like and consist of
• Why therapeutic play is so important
• What tips and techniques you can take away and use in your parenting at home and outside of home

Join us for a fun and memorable day at Washbrooks Family Farm, where children and families can get closer to nature and adventure. This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with other PACT families, build friendships and enjoy time together in a relaxed setting.

Upon your arrival at Camp Mohawk, please make your way to the reception. Members of PACT staff will be there to welcome you and register your family before you enter the venue.
