Nearly nine years ago, Alan’s family was forever changed when they adopted their two amazing children through PACT. Since becoming a PACT family, they have continued to reach out for the guidance we offer to ensure their children are surrounded by the support they might need on their journey to adulthood.
To show his gratitude and to give back to the charity, Alan decided to run his first half-marathon for PACT. Alan registered to participate in the Richmond Park Half and set the ambitious fundraising target of £3,000 to support PACT’s work. On 2nd June, Alan not only completed the race with an impressive time but also raised £3,193 from almost 100 supporters. The generosity of his friends, family and colleagues will help PACT continue to bring families together and to be there for them when they need us.
Alan said: “After accepting the challenge from some friends to run my first half marathon earlier this year, I decided to try to raise as much money as I could for PACT as a small thank you for all of the support they continue to give us and for the wonderful services they offer to vulnerable women and children. PACT is an amazing charity and we wouldn’t be where we are without them.”
Thank you so much Alan for your fantastic fundraising efforts – you are a PACT superstar!
